We're looking for a Head of QA to lead Redo's quality efforts across the entire product stack. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll establish and drive the testing strategy, build and manage automation frameworks, and partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to ensure a consistently high-quality product experience. You will also mentor other QA and SDET team members as the function scales.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and own Redo’s end-to-end QA strategy across frontend, backend, and data pipelines.

• Build and maintain automated test suites and CI pipelines to support rapid releases.

• Lead and grow a high-performing QA team over time, balancing hands-on coding and strategic leadership.

• Monitor and respond to production issues and errors to continuously improve quality.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to deliver bug-free, scalable software.

• Drive performance, security, and load testing initiatives where needed.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a QA leader, SDET, or engineering manager with a strong QA focus.

• Strong programming skills (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar).

• Deep experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

• A strong understanding of modern web application architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Passion for building tools and processes that make QA fast, efficient, and reliable.

• Clear communication, high ownership, and a bias for action.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Familiarity with Redo’s tech stack: TypeScript, Node.js, and modern CI/CD workflows.
